Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Our Sweet Orange Essential Oil is cold pressed from the rind of the Citrus sinensis fruit which has a sweet, fresh, citrus scent. This uplifting and worry reducing essential oil carries health benefits that can be attributed to its properties as an antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, tonic, and deodorants. It has a very powerful nourishing and moisturizing properties, to relieve dry, irritated, acne prone skin and callused feet.

Word of Caution: Orange essential oils displays photo-toxicity and may have a chemical response to sunlight. It tastes bitter and if ingested in large quantities, it may result in vomiting, nausea, and loss of appetite.

Blending: The essential oils of frankincense, lavender, myrrh, rose and sage blend well.

Suggested Usage:

Bath – Mix 4-8 drops (2-3 for most children) in a carrier oil or bath salts (Dead Sea Epsom or Himalayan Salts work best) Add to bath water or hand/foot soak.

Diffuse – Add several drops to an aromatherapy diffuser
